Emergency Loans

Strapped for cash? Wollongong Undergraduate Student Association (WUSA) can provide you with a short term interest free loan.

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a member of WUSA
  • Have no outstanding debts with WUSA.
  • Provide student card and proof of current enrolment via SOLS or Student Central.
  • Loans are NOT available during recess, exams or Summer Session.

Loan Details

  • Maximum of $25 for up to 6 weeks
  • Interest free
  • Up to $50 is available in cases where hardship can be proven

How to apply

To apply for a loan, simply come into the WUSA office, fill out the appropriate forms and let us ease your financial pain. Please note that a WUSA Executive member must be present to approve a loan.

Conditions

  • Marks will be withheld if loans are not repaid on time
  • May be subject to a $5 late fee.
  • Governed by regulations
